Today was my second visit to the Highlands location of Park Burger. I went with my standard issue 1/3 lb, medium rare, Harris Ranch patty gussied up with caramelized onion, american cheese, lettuce, tomato, and their burger sauce. All this goodness on the softest, pillowy bun you can imagine.
This flattop griddled burger is consistently the best in Denver. The best. Meat is cooked perfectly, the well-toasted soft bun miraculously stays intact even under intense pressure from the overall juiciness, the onions are soft and sweet.
It is very rare that I eat a better burger in Denver. In fact, in this class (sit-down, ~$10 burger), I don’t think I have…and the location on 32nd street is 2 for 2 when it comes to delivering a top notch burger.
I just wanted to close my eyes, stop talking, and softly grunt my way through the whole event.
